$84,000 was provided by the Phase II Tobacco Certification Entity and the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Over 2,200 acres of Working Lands are being protected from development. The Foundation partnered with NC Agriculture Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund on projects in the following counties;
The Foundation partnered with the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts to develop a Working Lands Preservation Resource Manual for local soil and water conservation districts.
